Navyše, Nice je požehnané dobrým verejným dopravou v meste a do všetkých bodov na Côte d’Azur, čo ho robí dobrým východiskovým bodom pre objavovanie Riviéry. Dlhá úzka pláž a opaľujúci sa hostia sú hlavnými atrakciami mesta pre väčšinu návštevníkov. Napriek tomu, staré mesto Nice, vieille ville, stojí za návštevu. Stará štvrť je nezvyčajnou kombináciou lesku a stredovekého stredomorského štvrťa s úzkymi uličkami a vonkajšími trhmi. Pre nádherný panoramatický výhľad na Riviéru vystúpte na vrchol hradu.
